QUOTE(ll_kingklick_ll @ Feb 29, 2008 - 7:12 PM) i am getting ready to turbo my 7afe. after i get everything installed with fmu and injectors and all will i need to dyno tune my car or can i just set the boost at 7-9 psi what i want it and just run? Wow... Ummmm you CAN just put it at whatever psi you want and hope for the best if you have expendable funds and like a blown engine. Yes you need to dyno tune it. Dyno tuning is the perfect way to safely monitor the performance and adjust your fuel curve to play nice with your boost. Do not turbo until you have money set aside for a dyno tune right after the turbo setup is done. - Matt |
