I'm considering buying one of these in a few weeks, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this header. Would you recommend it? What kind of gains/improvements did you notice? How does this affect gas mileage? Would I have any problems passing inspection? As far as protection, would you recommend wrapping or painting with high temp paint (I'd like to make it black to match the rest of my engine bay, if possible)? Input and pics would be appreciated. -Matt This post has been edited by GotToyota: Mar 2, 2008 - 1:00 AM |

QUOTE(LewFX @ Mar 2, 2008 - 1:21 AM) not a chance, the header eliminates the cat completely! Are you sure? I'm pretty positive that the cat is under the car, from the pipe that goes from the bottom of the exhaust manifold, to the cat, but that's how I know it is on other cars, is the Celica different? BTW, it's just the header I'm talking about, I'm not talking about a y-pipe or anything. -Matt |
