Rayme's parking tips
Maximize your chances There's always ways to maximize your parking space to not get your car dinged, or minimize any sort of potential damage...of course you don't always get the choice of a space when you park, but keep those in mind: 1. Park the furthest away from the door •There is less traffic as people try to park close the entrance so there is less change of people parking away. 2. Park near Sedans •Their doors are shorter than coupes, less chance of accidental dings 3. Park on a car who's passenger side if facing you •Chances are the car has no passenger, so no door opening on your car! 4. Park next to a new car / clean car •The drivers will likely take more attention since it's his new prized possesion. 5. Backup in the parking!!!! •If somebody accidently hit your car, its way easier and cheaper to replace a fender than repair a quarter panel. Not to mention you can probaby repair it at home if it's a lame hit and run. 6. Do not park near vans...kids sometime likes to lean and touch stuff like cars 7. Park against a pole or a cart storage space •Nobody will park next to you 8. Try to shop at wierd hours when nobody is there If you have more, let's hear them! -------------------- -Rémy 02 SiR, 08 250R |

I had to park across two spots last time I went to the movies cause the other cars already were. When I came out everyone was parked normal and I had a flyer in my windshield wiper that said something to the effect of "you park like an a$$hole" and had spots to check for reasons [similar to the old ricer ticket" thing]. I wasn't pissed about the accusation or the fact I had no choice - I was just pissed someone touched my car. Why do people feel it's ok to touch your car if they are delivering a flyer [even food flyers etc] - it's not. Noone should ever touch someone elses car - ever.
