First up, my wife's favorites:
MSW Type 16, Black with red stripe, 18x8: ![]() or MSW Type 11, 18x8 +35: ![]() And then there's my favorites: R-1 Racing Hype, 18x7.5 +40. Narrower, not sure about the offset though, but I LOVE this wheel: ![]() or Excel Ennio, 18x8, +35: *Edit* Just found these in gunmetal, this would be what we'd get, NOT silver.** ![]() Now, my favorite BY FAR is that R-1 Racing Hype wheel. The only drawbacks I have on it are the 7.5" width and the chrome lip. But.....the biggest concern here is the +40 offset on the 7.5" width. I'm almost thinking a spacer is going to be mandatory to keep it from being sucked too far into the fenders. My wife's favorite is the MSW Type 11.........which is clean, but I just don't like the wide black sections on the spoke bases. anywho, this is what we're looking at right now. Going to try to order something by the end of the week. This post has been edited by Fastbird: Mar 4, 2008 - 1:00 AM -------------------- |

QUOTE(joehernandez @ Mar 8, 2008 - 2:26 AM) yeah i was asking about the r-1's,, how much were you going to pay? also,, so you are saying that spacers are needed for the r-1's? I was looking at paying about $180-200 per wheel. One ebay vendor has them advertised at $825 BIN plus $70 shipping, but the don't have them in stock. I chewed the guy out actually because between the two auctions he's got listed he's showing having 7 sets in stock. Yeah, the 7.5" width coupled with the +40 offset would tuck them in pretty good into the wheel wells. I think a 5-10mm spacer would put them about perfect on the car. -------------------- |
