my powersteering belt is squeaking when i make turns, i try to tighten it from the bottom of my car the other day but i cant find the spot to tighten it. anyoneknows where it is located exactly? pictures would be better wink.gif

Check your power steering fluid, it's more likely that you're low on fluid - I believe your belt would squeak if it either needed to be replaced, or were too tight. Tightening it won't help.



When your low on fluid it makes more of a whine than a belt noise. Tightening the belt can stop a squeal.

Anyways. There should be a tensioner on your power steering pulley. Your gonna need to loosen the bolt on the pulley then tighten the tensioner.
