went to a nearby landfill where they charge $6 for public weigh in.
with 1/4 (5lbs) tank and myself (140lbs) yes i am a small boy

1995 GT Hatch
spare tire removed
back seats delete


2,680lbs.
- tank n' myself
2,535lbs.

lighter than i expected. i was told that gt's are around 3k lbs

Well it all depends on how tall you are too. You wont be considered small, unless you are tall and lanky. I know a guy who is 6'2", but weighs 150 lbs. But you are well below 3K. I always thought the GT's weigh around 3K.

im only 5'8'' just average. i did take out the seats and the spare tire but i do have a considerable amount of strutbars in the back
