Hi guys, I'm a new member and this is my first post so please forgive me if this has been answered already.

I have seen a few people that have done the 3sgte swap that live in mass. I am interested in doing the swap for a 3rd gen 3sgte(jdm) but was wondering if anyone has passed the emissions?

Thanks for any input,

rivs

96^ won't pass, you need OBDII, they hook the tester up to you car.
I'm guessing you have a 95, so you're fine there.
You'll shouldn't have a problem passing the emissions part, assuming the engine is in a good state of tune.

Technically you'll fail a visual [no EGR], but 99.9% of inspectors won't know what they're looking at, so you should be fine.

Where are you located?

Thanks for the info. I live in western mass, near springfield.
