 GT Four hood |

I put my GT4 hood on my car today just to see if it fit right and noticed that the insulation was all messed up (its hanging off the hood and touching the engine. Can I leave it the way it is or will it catch on fire? what about the grill in the hood, wont rain get in it and mess up my engine? How do I fix this stuff?

check if your insulator is being kept up by big round clips.. if they're not there put some on. but if they are there, then probably the holes in the insulator are torn and is falling through the clip. so you'll probably need a new one.
mine is also hanging a bit. it's mainly because when it rains, it pours out the vent rain guard tray towards the front of the hood and as you drive, the wind flowing through the bumper blows the water back towards the insulator and slowly deteriorates it. i haven't found a fix to it yet, but i don't think it'll catch on fire or anything.. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
