So its time to rebuild one of my 7AFEs because of the all too common oil burning issue, and early signs of rod knock.

SO i want to go fuel economy way since its my DD.

Would a higher CR(12:1ish) make for a better mpg rating when i dont get on it since more torque = less throttle needed?
or is my logic flawed?

so would after market pistons cams and rods get worse MPG? i am at the same problem's with my 7afe and i am about to rebuild it for my soon to be wifes DD any ideas for a reliable good MPG DD?

those mods decreae mpg....



if you want better mpg get a hot air intake...
