 GT Four hood |

I put my GT4 hood on my car today just to see if it fit right and noticed that the insulation was all messed up (its hanging off the hood and touching the engine. Can I leave it the way it is or will it catch on fire? what about the grill in the hood, wont rain get in it and mess up my engine? How do I fix this stuff?

Just leave all that rubbish off...you dont need any of it at all...been running mine for 4 years without any of the sound deadening material or the scoop guard in place and its been fine...never had a single problem from water ingress, rust or anything...just rip it all out....it`ll even save you a bit of weight....not much, but a bit. You wont suffer paint fade, water issues, heat issues nothing.
