I put my GT4 hood on my car today just to see if it fit right and noticed that the insulation was all messed up (its hanging off the hood and touching the engine. Can I leave it the way it is or will it catch on fire? what about the grill in the hood, wont rain get in it and mess up my engine? How do I fix this stuff?

Hmmm I'll consider taking it off but that plastic piece that is attached to the hood scoop seems to be part of the insulation also. What about the rain in the grill no biggie??? thanx in advance, maybe I'll post pic. I cut off part of the insulation that was all messed up.

No burn. It isn't capable of burning unless you expose it to OPEN flame. (and a fairly large one at that)
