I put my GT4 hood on my car today just to see if it fit right and noticed that the insulation was all messed up (its hanging off the hood and touching the engine. Can I leave it the way it is or will it catch on fire? what about the grill in the hood, wont rain get in it and mess up my engine? How do I fix this stuff?

Hmmm sounds good, thanks for the replies. Yeah I did try to set a piece on fire with a lighter just to see what would happen and the insulation didn't burn but the black part did. Probably will just rip it off or fashion one from pieces of another car. we'll see. on another note I'm really pissed off cuz I bought this thing on ebay and they only pictured 2 dents and the whole thing is just f'd up, will need a lot of repairs.

By the way is there a thread on modifying your hood latch to make it work with this hood correctly?
