I put my GT4 hood on my car today just to see if it fit right and noticed that the insulation was all messed up (its hanging off the hood and touching the engine. Can I leave it the way it is or will it catch on fire? what about the grill in the hood, wont rain get in it and mess up my engine? How do I fix this stuff?

Woah you can bend it like that and it'll work!?--never thought about doing that before. Because I haven't yet installed my gt4 hood yet, but i was considering welding it to extend it but if we can bend it, that'll save me the inconvenience.
So just bend it clockwise like ~35 degrees and that's all? or any other work. Also malpaso, comparing your pic to Gerald's, you have that metal clip where u screwed the bumper onto and attached with on the framing whereas Gerald's is just one long bolt. You can get those metal clip things at any hardware store right? And just do some minor bending/sauder? This post has been edited by _mikeE: Mar 23, 2008 - 3:13 PM |
