Okay, well I was told it is illegal to leave flyers on peoples' cars after spending all day finding other 6th gen celicas on my school campus. I had got one person's car and seen that they left, and as I was heading out somewhere in the opposite direction, seen what appeared to be their car again, so I left another flyer on it, because I wasn't 100% sure. I told a friend this and they were like "Dude! You know that isn't legal right?". People leave flyers on cars all the time, I don't see how that would be a bad thing. Plus all these other celicas always try to park next to me anyways, so I figured why not? I have been checking in here to see if there are any new members with hopes of my success and so far nothing. So I was wondering if I should just leave those other ones alone or should I keep leaving flyers? You have to understand that this town is a very conservative town. Meaning people stick to many small social clicks like many small tribes. They aren't very friendly and it takes a lot of effort to go out and make yourself known to strangers without provoking a fight or giving the wrong impression. If not, what else would you recommend? I am trying to get more 6gc.net members here in my city. I even almost chased down a car by my work that was in the drive thru at Jack-in-the-Box just to make friends locally with other 6gc owners.
I am really getting desperate here. I evny anyone who has other members they are friends with who can ride up to meets together and such. I want that damn it! Anyways, any suggestions or replies would be appreciated. -------------------- 91 MR2 Turbo SW20, 92 MR2 Turbo SW20, 95 Celica GT ST204

I don't know how legal it may be but I know it pisses me off when people think they can just touch my car like that. Especially when it's Pizza Flyers or something. It's pretty obvious I love my car and for someone to just randomly come along and use it for a bulliten board like that it makes me mad - it's like touching my GF without permission. Now if someone were to leave me a flyer for 6gc.net I would probably think that was cool - but I'm into it. If the person you give a flyer to is not an enthusiast and just happens to own a Celica I could see where that is annoying. I can also see where that would be illegal. Trespassing is basically touching someones property without permission - this is a very similar act.
Secondly I could see where it is illegal cause what if you happen to damage their car? Not saying you wouldn't be honest enough to own up to it but do you think the average pizza flyer guy would be? I doubt it. All that being said - people have jobs leaving flyers on your door knob and cars all the time. It may not be right but it doesn't appear to be illegal. Probably should be tho. -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
