First up, my wife's favorites:
MSW Type 16, Black with red stripe, 18x8:  or MSW Type 11, 18x8 +35:  And then there's my favorites: R-1 Racing Hype, 18x7.5 +40. Narrower, not sure about the offset though, but I LOVE this wheel:  or Excel Ennio, 18x8, +35: *Edit* Just found these in gunmetal, this would be what we'd get, NOT silver.**  Now, my favorite BY FAR is that R-1 Racing Hype wheel. The only drawbacks I have on it are the 7.5" width and the chrome lip. But.....the biggest concern here is the +40 offset on the 7.5" width. I'm almost thinking a spacer is going to be mandatory to keep it from being sucked too far into the fenders. My wife's favorite is the MSW Type 11.........which is clean, but I just don't like the wide black sections on the spoke bases. anywho, this is what we're looking at right now. The four are all mounted up and stacked in the garage with the old wheels sitting right next to them. I just haven't had time to get it into the shop for an alignment (I'm going to see how out of whack my camber is and if I need to do some work before I ruin new tires), and the wheels aren't going on until then. -------------------- |
