Is it illegal to leave flyers on peoples' cars?, In California if it matters Options

Okay, well I was told it is illegal to leave flyers on peoples' cars after spending all day finding other 6th gen celicas on my school campus. I had got one person's car and seen that they left, and as I was heading out somewhere in the opposite direction, seen what appeared to be their car again, so I left another flyer on it, because I wasn't 100% sure. I told a friend this and they were like "Dude! You know that isn't legal right?". People leave flyers on cars all the time, I don't see how that would be a bad thing. Plus all these other celicas always try to park next to me anyways, so I figured why not? I have been checking in here to see if there are any new members with hopes of my success and so far nothing. So I was wondering if I should just leave those other ones alone or should I keep leaving flyers? You have to understand that this town is a very conservative town. Meaning people stick to many small social clicks like many small tribes. They aren't very friendly and it takes a lot of effort to go out and make yourself known to strangers without provoking a fight or giving the wrong impression. If not, what else would you recommend? I am trying to get more 6gc.net members here in my city. I even almost chased down a car by my work that was in the drive thru at Jack-in-the-Box just to make friends locally with other 6gc owners.

I am really getting desperate here. I evny anyone who has other members they are friends with who can ride up to meets together and such. I want that damn it! Anyways, any suggestions or replies would be appreciated.

ya i think ill be going down to Visalia in Sep. but im not sure,i have family that lives there and they wanted me to come down..

Sounds good, hit me up. Oh by the way, are you far from Jeff Lew? Because I am planning on going to his place for some mod work and such. Hopefully this month, it keeps getting pushed back because of other financial objectives that like to keep jumping out at me. But I am getting there (saving up $$$) for what is going to be worth the whole trip and the money. Just trying to see who I can meet that I missed at the So Cal meet, so that if I never find anyone here locally to become a part of 6gc, I will still feel comfortable going to the meets because I would have met other members who will be there.


And just to share some new information, after checking some cities here locally, I think I am the only member in my entire COUNTY! WHAT?! I know I have seen some fixed up celicas here in town. I need to hunt those mofos down.

you think you've got it bad. i'm the only active person in the entire state. occasionally a utah member will make a post but it's usually "need to sell" then they are never heard of again. hopefully this summer i can attend a meet on the westcoast either in cali or oregon. i'm all alone
