I just was wondering if these performance chips will actually do anything for your performance or if anyone has one they like. I'm more just curious if there is any truth to this than really looking to get one. I have always just wondered if these work like the seller claims. but here is a link to one of them if your wondering what it is. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/35HP-PERFOR...1QQcmdZViewItem

QUOTE(stetsonaw @ Apr 7, 2008 - 7:37 AM) ...and turbonators... Hey dont hate on the turbonator I have 7 of them on my car... I kid I kid... but seriously all these "performance chips" are is just a 99cent resistor from radio shack that is put inline with the sensor in your air box. All it does is trick the current load coming from your air box and tricks your ecu into dumping more fuel into the engine. The resistor changes the resistance in your sensor and make your sensor think you are at the conditions to where you would need more fuel... waste of money, waste of gas... spend the money you would have spent on this on a tank of gas... - Matt This post has been edited by politicsareevil: Apr 7, 2008 - 10:00 AM |
