what is the problem
-------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

oh no dude no!!
Dont run your headunit thru the stock amp, no no no!! It's only there to push the factory head unit strong enough to run the speakers. Any old aftermarket headunit will put out the same power, and that setup wont allow you to expand. Unplug the amp, and the local wal*mart's wiring harness will attach to the 'speaker->out' plug. it's $5.00 i believe... dont go wiring your head-unit thru the factory amp though, Please!! Well, it's ur car, but IMO it's a horrible idea... yeah i heard that was a bad idea. i look into that harness from walmart though. i got on from there before and i tried to connect to the harness that went form the stock stereo to the amp. thanks for the cconcern. -------------------- |
