So i was planning on doing my 3 swap in late June-July, but have opted to wait towards the end of the year seeing as how i am buying a condo right now and wont have 4,000 cash to drop on a front clip, yet:)

But i will still be able to spend money on other things, so i was thinking of stuff i could do before i did the swap... But all i could come up with is a new exhaust.
What else can i do to make my car more swap ready?

Im not talking about stereo or side skirts or lowering, just strickly related to the swap.

Thanks for your help and advice

Well, other than getting a new exhaust, you should consider a hi-flow cat as well.
Also, if you're planning to keep your s54 tranny, don't forget you need the clutch as well. Or you could contemplate on an e153 tranny benefitting yourself with LSD.
Other than that, you should get yourself an FMIC so when you get your clip, you can convert it right away.
And if you're doing the swap yourself--don't forget tools haha big essential laugh.gif
Other than that, money money biggrin.gif which is something we'd all like to have more of but never enough.

FMIC would be good, although i would feel like a bit of poser with out the engine to back that up lol:)
My tranny will be getting rebuild:) and a new clutch will be put in when the swap is being done, seeing as how mine runs puurrrfect now.

What is the benefit with a high flow cat?
I am not doing the swap myself, so tools wont be a problem lol!!:)

thanks for your help
