So i was planning on doing my 3 swap in late June-July, but have opted to wait towards the end of the year seeing as how i am buying a condo right now and wont have 4,000 cash to drop on a front clip, yet:)

But i will still be able to spend money on other things, so i was thinking of stuff i could do before i did the swap... But all i could come up with is a new exhaust.
What else can i do to make my car more swap ready?

Im not talking about stereo or side skirts or lowering, just strickly related to the swap.

Thanks for your help and advice

i would wait on the exhaust and get a custom one.

drive the car open downpipe to the shop and have them put one on from there back.

downpipe
boost controller
water/meth injection
gauges
wideband
intercooler and piping
bov
any engine mounts you may need for a diff trans
any shifter cables you may need for said trans
axles for mentioned trans
other trans itself

may also want to look into the condition of your current suspension - bushing etc... adding an extra 100 hp to your car might take a toll on the suspension faster than you may like.

also look at brake options. you can always upgrade those components now and enjoy them, and further utilize the extra stopping power when you have that extra power & weight that goes with a swap

if you do the nickel and dime stuff now... then when you finish your swap, instead of having say...230hp to the wheels, you would end up with 280 @ the wheels safely. also making your car that much more fun to drive without sacrificing a whole lot of reliability - given that you maintain it and tune it correctly
