How much compression can our 5sfe cyl-head handle as far as pistons and decking are concerned? I can't decide on 9:1, 10:1 or higher?

QUOTE(6strngs @ Apr 10, 2008 - 4:07 PM) I think stock compression ratio is 9.5:1 True 10:1 will be fine if you use 93 octane - I'm not sure but I know I wouldn't run it on 87 This post has been edited by DEATH: Apr 10, 2008 - 4:10 PM -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
