I purchased a 1997 Toyota Celica ST Limited Edition and my question is .. how do i get the trunk to stay when i lift it up? its a liftback by the way. Thank you.

lol my coupe trunk wont even pop open when i use the latchg with or without the wing on it it sucks lol i need to shocks for it but thats last on my list of things lol and i doubt the new ones still wont open the trd wing i have to go on it

buddy, new shocks wont help. rolleyes.gif i tried it, spent 50 bucks for nothing. it still does not pop open, i have to use keys....

see, mine's the complete opposite, I can't use the key, only the trunk popper.. I agree, for the hatchbacks, get new trunk shocks!

do you have a spoiler? i do, and i think the wight makes it not pop

nope, spoilerless. I think it's the key hole cause I can put the key in but it won't turn. It used to work when I bought it 1.5 years ago.
