I'm trying to decide which piggy back to get. I'm thinking of getting the apexi afc neo, but wanted other suggestions and or reviews of people using this. Any info would be nice.

Yeah, I think the most affordable route for the 3rd gen as far as ECU goes is a Mines/Blitz tuned stock unit.
The biggest drawback is that you're pretty much stuck with whatever tune the owner in Japan decided to go with. ![]() I think the BEST solution is something that tuners at the dyno will be familiar with, and theres really only a few choices that are plug and play with a 3rd gen harness. These include Apexi Power FC, HKS F-Con V Pro (very few authorized tuners for HKS units) or the best that I've found, which is the Hydra Nemesis. http://www.koracing.net/viewproduct.php?fo...amp;product=101 ![]() KO Racing makes a plug-and-play Gen 3 Hydra Nemesis for the MR2, and that will work no problem with a ST205. You might need to hard-wire up an intercooler pump circuit if you retain the W2A intercooler, otherwise its all plug and play with unlimited tunability. -Corey -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
