Well the stress cracks along my radiator just gave way so I'll be putting in a new radiator this week-end. I've replaced the main radiator hoses already so this time, while it's drained, I want to tackle all the other coolant hoses. At 11 years and 137K mi it's time. I assume there are a pair that go around behind the engine to the fire-wall for the heater core. Working back there isn't much fun so I've searched the forums for any help changing them and not found anything. Does anyone have any tips for changing the heater core hoses? Do I work from underneath, around the side, or where? Is there something I should remove to get good (better?) access? Are there any other hoses I need to find and change? Thanks in advance!~ |

You can best acces it from the side of the car on the driver side. To get the best look, you will have to remove your intake system. You will see hoses around the fire wall near the throttle body.
