My friend and i spend about two days working on this install, granted, we're not pros but we're also not extreme newbs at it haha. i just remembered to check to see if popping the trunk would trigger the alarm, and it doesnt... if anyone has any idea on how to work this out in a clifford 50.5x, please let me know! Im kind of lost at the moment as to what wire i missed or what wire i need to tap.. thanks guys!

depends on what capabilities your alarm has, but you could easily run a prox. sensor in your trunk... Set the shock sensor to feel the trunk lid or switch... if you have a light that comes on to display your trunk is open, otherwise run a relay for power reduction to Y connect into the same line that senses your doors...or create your own way biggrin.gif

easiest and cheapest would deff to run a line from a trunk indicator to an activator switch.
