So as some of you know Im looking at either an MR2 or a Celica. Well I drove a Celica the other night and fell in love with it. My question is this, does the MR2 feel as smooth as the Celica, you know like power everything. Well Im stuck on getting a celica right now and this guy was going to buy an mr2 from just emailed me and said it was still available cause the day I went to meet him I couldnt get a hold of him. So anyways Im gonna low ball him and if he takes it then Im gonna go for it.

But I just wanna know is the ride in a MR2 as good or superior to a Celica. Im thinking superior since the MR2 was considerably more money. Oh and we are talking about a turbo mr2.

And the MR2T is less in insurence then the Celica GT, imagine that eh. So I dont know what to do, Im just bloody torn, I have that twisty feeling in my stomach, will I be blown away by the MR2 enough to buy it? Thanks guys

if you have the ability to get or have a winter/cargo vehicle get the MR2, if not, get the celica. an MR2 will just be a headache if you dont have something to drive daily. if you do though, by all means MR2!! theres no greater sound than the turbo spooling close to 2 feet behind your ears. and no, the engine sound isnt too loud, its nice b/c you can hear all the pumps and accessories, so you can tell real early by sound if something is out of the ordinary.

its a rough choice, if you like both cars, base the decision on how much you are going to drive it. how much maintanence you are willing/can do, if you have a reliable 2nd car, what kind of driving will be done with the car. if you think about those things, it should be an obvious decision

good point. exactly why I got a celica instead of the 2. needed ff because of the snow up here, n/a seemed more reliable (at the time), and extra carrying capacity were definetly factors.
