 3s-gte, what does it mean? |

i know for the honda engine, the engine names mean something. like the h22.
h- h series 22- 2.2 liter the same for bmw like the 325 3- 3 series 25- 2.5 liter i was just wondering what 3s-gte or 5s-fe, etc. means because it would be interesting maybe |

here ya go, this should clear things up:
http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/engine.htm edit: chrobis man, the 2.4l engine in the US 240sx is a KA24DE. Japanese spec is a CA18DET hence the name 180sx. the silvia on the other hand has the 2.0l SR20DET you speak of
