ok my buddy bought an 01 acura CL type S. it has a 3.2 v6 v-tech engine (230 HP plus a new injen cold air intake)with 80k miles and a brand new tranny with about 200 miles on it. its a shame that he works twice as much as he sleeps. so he wrecked it while napping at the wheel. so im trien to work out a deal with him and drop it in my celi.now i didnt do any measuring yet but im thinking this might work. im not worried about mechanical work and a lil bit of fab work. what im wondering is would i have to use the fuse panels and every lil electrical piece under the hood and dash?

it would not be illegal to put a same year or newer engine in your car no matter what manufacturer. However it has to stay in the same class "car to car" then again Cali has different rules then New York. So I dunno
And if I could, i'd put an H22a or something in a 6th gen. Toyota didn't do very well offering exciting engines to us in the U.S. Sometimes we just want a powerfull N/A and not turbo. Honda wins hands down in that dept. This post has been edited by Celicaguy13: May 31, 2008 - 2:12 AM -------------------- |
