well folks! obama is getting the nod for democratic candidate!! as a black man, this is VERY BIG for me/us! HISTORY IS BEING MADE!
too bad hillary is behaving the way she is i really liked her... but oh well... As far as experience, he actually has the same amount of experience as a senator as Hillary. I'm not so certain that being the spouse of a president qualifies a person to become president; so with that, I think they're about equal. As for Obama to McCain, well, McCain is a dinosaur, which in itself in my opinion negates his experience. I appreciate his experience, both politically and his life experience, but frankly I think that 200+ years of having stuffy old white men running this country is just getting tired and not working out so well! I couldn't be happier that Obama got the nomination. We DESPERATELY need fresh blood in the White House. I think Hillary is just another political clone/milk-toast Democrat who talks a big talk but I'm not so sure she'll actually put up. --------------------  |
