M10 x 1.25 pitch is .04921 = about 20 threads per inch Drill size for tap 11/32
M10 x 1.5 pitch is .05905 = about 17 threads per inch Drill size for tap letter R M10 x .75 pitch is .02952 = about 34 threads per inch Drill size for tap 23/64 a tight fit but should work well. Those are pretty much the common M10. You should be able to go to a hardware store get the metric size bolt and compare it. If you can't find all the metric ones compare standard bolts to see which threads mesh the best. Hold the bolt against the fitting thread into thread and look for light and gaps between them. The .75 is the least common and finest thread, it would be my guess for a thin wall application. A standard 10-32 us bolt thread should mesh fairly well with it. It is a much smaller diameter than your metric but it is a quick way to check the threads. This post has been edited by 97lestyousay: Jun 5, 2008 - 1:32 AM -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.
