Hi!
I have power windows (as all of us?) and when i what the driverside down the window goes all the way down even if I don't hold the button. That is nice! But my problem/question is that i want the same function for the window going up and for the passager side aswell. Has anyone made this modification? Does anyone know how the window know when it's up so that the windowengine don't burn out? /Johan |

I know u want to connect it to the up button, what im saying is that while ur sending 12V for 20 secs to the motor (going up) and if ur accidentally hit the down button on the oem switch then u'll send another current to the motor, only this time the current is in reverse(going down, remember the Voltage in cars is DC)and that can cause a fire or a fuse. -------------------- 98% completion --- aaRon |

Yeah i know the problem. As you say, i would probably burn someting after a while so its not an option unless i do some electric connections with smoe relays or something so it become safe. The the driverside buttons apart yesterday and there are no way to use it as it is, no place to put a PCB or something without taking someting out and i won't do that. But thanks for the idea anyway, just a little complicated My 4Runner had this feature. Maybe search around on different Toyotas and see if you can "marry" the two? alright, might search around for it but i probably end up with the DEI module since it sounds easy and less time consuming (spelling?) |
