OK,
YES I KNOW THIS ISNT A 6GC BUT I THOUGHT ID ASK.... TO START OFF, MOST OF YALL KNOW MY CAR IS TOTALLED AND I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR CELICAS IN THE AREA THAT I CAN BUY, BUT HTE MORE I LOOK INTO IT, I WOULD RATHER HAVE AN MR2... So the coice for the engine is the 5sgte... mainly becaues its bigger displacement and the walls are thicker, coolant passages are routed differently but still join up, thicker passages and no weak spot between cyl head 2 and 3.... this means i can boost high, run nitrous and race gas without much worry of cracking the block! yay! There's always 1gen MR2s as well. They can be quite fun, esp. the SC versions, and often are priced cheaper than 2gen models.
If you haven't yet, try to take a drive or ride in a couple first to see what you think. IMHO, I'd rather swap a 3sgte into an n/a car rather than take the effort to turbo a 5s. -------------------- Apex Silver 2008 EVO MR
