My stock 1997 ST header has a crack on it. I've been too lazy to do anything, but I believe I should replace it as soon as possible.
I've been looking at 7AFE stock headers from eBay, and the shinny 7AFE headers from Corollas. I've heard a lot of stories (from you guys) that the Corolla header is too short, and the flex pipe is missing an O2 sensor hole. And then some members on here stated that there ARE flex pipes on eBay that has the O2 sensor hole (which I couldn't find), and then there were some members on here that says the O2 hole is a plug type and not the screw type (or the other way around)...., and then something about Pre-O2 sensor, and Post-O2 sensor...... basically I'm And yet, I haven't heard any stories about the stock replacement on eBay. If I'm mainly looking for something that works, that lasts, best for the bucks, what kind of headers should I get?!?!?! Do you have a link? HP Racing makes a header for the 7afe. I put it on my car cuz I got it for a steal of a deal. But,I used to have the $30 ebay header after my stock one split due to me jumpin in the car one day and rocketing to work without letting the motor warm up. Like,in my 7th gen I don't push the motor til 2 clicks on the heat gauge. You might want to start doing the same.
