i have a wideband and it will not work at anything under 13.5 or so volts. so I'm thinking of building or buying a dc to dc converter something that will take battery voltage 12-14v and give me a constant 14v ....any body have any ideas??

Wow, that seems like a lot of work, why not just wire up a resistor in line?
