NBA scandel, wat do u think is true? Options

This realy pisses me off about how some refs were paid off to make series goto game 7s,it makes sense to me i mean if u have more games u get more commercials which mean more $ for the NBA it just makes me mad that after almost 4 years they start to talk about it.also if it happened once its bound to have happened a lot.I think a solution would be to pay the refs more $.What do u guys think about the topic?

isnt it obvious? the NBA has degenerated into crap. its only worth watching during the playoffs, and they know it, so they up the games to 7 and recently BOOM all of a sudden EVERY GAME is going to the 7th?!?? come on now, you can TELL they are playing and toying around.
remember, the players get extra$ for every game they play in the playoffs too!

NBA & basketball in general is NOT a true team sport, dosent require much discipline and dosent take alot of talent to play. just height and alot of practice. it dosent measure to decent sports=footbal, soccer,and hockey

i agree with some of the things u said, but to say it doesnt take discipline and talent to play is ignorant. It takes PLENTY of discipline and talent to play. How many players actually play college basketball? Then think about how many people actually MAKE it to the NBA...then think about how many players actually PLAY FOR AN NBA team...most basketball teams play 7 people in a game (8 if they're desperate). So if you calculate 8 players that actually play a decent amount of games for the entire season times 30 teams...240 players out of how many basketball players in the world actually play in the best basketball league in the world??? And you say it doesnt take a lot of talent to play?

Ever wonder why players in And1 never make it to the NBA (with the exception of Rafer Alston)? They lack DISCIPLINE and dont understand the game. It takes plenty of discipline to play within an offensive and defensive system.

i agree with 99.999% of wat ur saying,except thatthe nba is the best,i dont beileive that..how come we dont win in the olympics,i dont watch it but i dont think we do very well..

When it comes to baskeball players, NBA has the best in the world hands down. i remember reading a couple things sports illustrated about why we didnt win the olympics and i remember a few things sticking out

some players (ie: shaq and some other top tier athletes in NBA) didn't want to get injured or risk their own personal safety (i don't think many people liked us after bush declared a bad war)

the world has caught up.... and i mean the level of talent in other countries since going against the last dream team has raised exponentially!

Fundamental basketball is given more value in the European countries. alot of the players/teams are VERY sound

Team fluidity. the USA team for lack of better words was slapped together and sent out there against fundamentally sound guys whom have been playing as a team, together for years.

Coaching /rules

i SERIOUSLY doubt that it will happen again anytime soon they rectified the situation. it was REALLY embarassing for us as a country who invented the sport.
