Hi,
I am a new member of 6gc and I am currently shopping for a celica. I have come across this gt-s and it's in amazing condition w/170 000km on it. It has alpine deck and speakers w/sub, new summer tires with 16" toyota alloys, and he recently got new clutch and shocks. All leather w/sunroof. Details: # New Tires/Wheels 2 years ago (Dunlop SP Sport 9000 High Performance Summer Tires) # 4 Toyota OEM Steel Wheels with Michelin Pilot Alpin Winter Tires (Half tread remaining) # Alpine 9833 Deck and New Rear Alpine Speakers with MTX SubWoofer and Rockford Sub (NOTE: Lots of sound options for front set…there are 3 speakers per door) Asking $7200. With all the experience on this site, can someone let me know if I should go for this deal? I have not physically seen this car yet (guy lives VERY far from me). But when I do see it, I wanna have a decision and price in mind. BASICALLY, what is the max amount you would be willing to pay for this car? Any input is appreciated, Thanks in advance! I'd go $6500 on it because it looks like it's in great condition, reasonably low miles for the year, hard to find and well maintained. I really believe the pricing on these varies greatly from region to region. Around here you'd be hard pressed to find one at all, much less in that kind of condition with that trim package. They go for quite a bit in this area.
Start from blue book and see where he goes from there. Anyone selling a car should fully expect to negotiate, even when they say the price is firm. -------------------- |
