mad.gif

So I took my car into the dealership to have it serviced (free). The gas gauge is about 1/8 left. They had my car for ~2 hours and low and behold when I get it back, it's down to almost nothing! WTF!?! mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

I check the odometer and see that they've driven it about 3 miles! How the hell do they waste all that gas on 3 miles!?! And where the hell did they drive my car to anyways (their facility isn't 3 miles long)? My guess is they saw a nice car and wanted to see what it can do... morons....

GRRRR....stuff like this really sets me off.

EDIT* The service was for an oil change and air filter change. That's it. So I don't know why they would need to drive me car afterwards.

This was my Lexus that they "test" drove for an oil change, not my Celica. It's the first scheduled maintenance and they offer it for free. I always change my own oil and air filter (no brainers) but since this was a free service, I took used it. But even if they drove my Celica like that, I'd still be pissed. I don't know about you guys, but whenever someone gets into the driver's seat of my car, I get a weird feeling like I just want to grab em and tossing them the hell out tongue.gif

So yeah, I treat my cars like my own children (if I had kids, that is) smile.gif

That sucks man, I understand they need to test drive the car after something more major, but oil change shouldn't require any test driving.
