i just sold my mustang, and i have some money to spend. im looking to get a new head unit, and some speakers all around. right now i have the stock speakers, tweeters, and some random cd player.
i want to get some great quality speakers. that fit in the stock holes. (6.5's i believe) also, what is a good head unit? i don't want to get an amp or subs. living in houston if i have subs and amp it would be gone in a week... i appreciate the help. also, should i replace tweeters? or should i get speakers with tweeters? Alpine is the way to go. I've got the 9885 and its great. as far as speakers go, components are the way to go. For speakers you're going to have to test them yourself because everyone has a different taste in sound. I personally like the alpine type r's but a lot of people like boston and infinity. To get the full effect of component speakers you will need to buy an amp to power them. It makes a world of a difference.
