spent the day installing my sub and amp that i bought in '07. skinned 2 knuckles, got slightly sunburned and dehydrated (not used to the heat yet). haven't "nailed" everything down yet. worked first try. no blown fuses, no showers of sparks, no eardrum-piercing feedback, just a nice thump from the back end of the CeliPig. not too loud, not too boomy. nice and tight. here are a few snaps.
sorry for the soft focus. i was loosing light and had a hard time keeping the cam still. -------------------- |

Nice car, I hope you don't plan on leaving that ugly mess of wire like that! actually i like spaghetti...seriously, i haven't decided whether to install the sub flat or at a more show-off angle. see new pics. yes, the wires need to be cleaned up. @mikecelica...donut spare... i threw it out and filled the well with expanding foam then trimmed to fit. gives me a nice "floor" to put the decking and carpet. i have a CAA membership if ever i get a flat. @goferris...bought the sub/amp combo from XSCARGO online (canada) after researching the price/quality of Visonik products. i paid 150$ + shipping for the combo and 30$ for the installation kit. it was a bit of a gamble not being able to listen to it before purchase but i am TOTALLY satisfied. good entry-level product. -------------------- |
