I bought some LEDs from Cup on here a while back and i keep burning one side out. For those who are not aware, we have 3 LED slots in our Cluster, and i keep burning out the one to the fare left right under the RPM gauge. It did this one time and i thought it was just a bad LED, so i took the LEDs out of my curtacy lights in my door and replaced it with that one. that was about a month and a half ago and now that one is flickering.

My question is does anyone think i have a problem with my cluster wiring, or is it those bulbs were not of the best quality(not to say they were crap, just not top notch) and they just keep burning out because they arent the best?

I hate to jinx it but I've had Culp's LEDs for 6 months now and never had a single issue. I use about 7 of them in my overall gauge setup [including the 3 in the cluster] and 2-3 more elsewhere in the car and have had zero issues whatsoever.
However, I'm running a 3S-GTE which we all know has a higher output alternator than the rather ****ty one that's on the 5S [Trust me - I've been through dozens of them in my lifetime using the 5S]. Perhaps the fact that the average output of the 5S alt is rediculously close to 12v at all times means at times it dips below and harms the LEDs? IDK - I'm just taking a stab.
Havok - Are you using the dimmer switch at all? If not turn it clockwise and see if it doesn't come up a few degrees. That may be your problem.

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.

I have it on full blast. What i dont understand is its only one side. i Have better LEDs but i was worried that they wouldnt match up right if i mixed the two. Im OCD like that. I have one more Cup LED, im going to replace it with that one, if that one burns out then ill try the better LEDs.
