Long story short, my friend is giving me his sound system, its a box with 2 15's and a 4 channel amp. I have an extra pair of 6x9's laying around my house and was wondering if I could hook up the 6x9's to the other 2 channels. Would this hurt anything? Would I fry the speakers?

So the subs are mono-coil, yeah? What is the wattage on the AMP?
If the amp is low wattage, then you'd wanna bridge the amp to run 2 chanel at higher power for 15" subs. If the AMP has suficient power to do it's work (or you want a low bass setup) then i'd recommend (To save on Capitol) getting a cross-over, so that you could use 2/4 ch on subs, and the other 2 ch for full range 6x9's. My buddy has this one http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Boss-Audio-BX25-2-...1QQcmdZViewItem and it works pretty well for him. ![]() G/L This post has been edited by D-Man: Jul 7, 2008 - 9:16 AM -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!!
