hey guys. im repainting my aftermarket rims and they got a bunch of those lead counter weights on the inside. should i remove them and rebalance after, or just paint over them?

Take them off and get the wheel rebalanced once it's painted.

-Painted weights will look stupid IMO
-It will be harder to get the weights off when the wheels do get rebalanced, you don't want to piss of the guy fixing your car biggrin.gif
-When the wheels are rebalanced you will have unpainted spots where the old weights were
