Just got back from the Texas 6gc meet in Austin.
13 Celicas in total showed. 1 mint condition alltrac ( ), 3s swapped monster and my V6 + a lot of really clean 6th gens.
Fun meet - it was a pleasure to meet all of you. Took LOTS of pics & vids. Here are some pictures to get started. Hope you all enjoy:

Darthripley and Just joe - you're car is amazing [thanks for picking an uphill spot to remind me why GT4 owns GT2 - buttholes ]. I'm sure if I didn't spend 4+hrs last weekend overhauling the coolant system I would have been in worse shape. Thanks in advance if you can help me with the heatsoke issue. I'll hit you up when I get to DFW to hit up Aaron and ATS - maybe you can show me some fun roads around there.

please hit us up when you come on up to dallas & you can see the MR2 & Camry also. there aren't too many fun roads around here ... they only last for 5 minutes, not a nice long rollercoaster like the road snapshot took us on, but we can find something.

We both can't wait for the next meet with more twisties to attack with a much better suspension ... one that isn't 18yrs old.

in case anyone was wondering why i wasn't driving ... i'm still learning how to drive a 5spd & i get nervous driving in a lot of traffic .. think back to when ya'll were learning & that's where i am right now. next time i'm going to be sharing some of the driving along with joe

I saw thanks. Not exactly good news that it's probably wiring related. I'll get myself over to alltrac.net and maybe you can get some of the techs over there to walk me through it. I'll do that and the first part of the speedo wiring at the same time. Then I'll install my SAFC-II and knock out the second part of the speedo thing at that time and hopefully I'll be finished with all that nonsense then.
Know any friendly knowledgable alltrac peeps in Houston?
BTW - I called Juan at the junkers this morning and of course he doesn't know WTF I'm talking about with the badges but I'll get myself over there and pick them up for you. He did say that since they were just badges we could work out a deal for beer - my favorite kind of bribe . Soonest I would have them is Sat tho [assuming I don't get any oil change/tune up business in the meantime]. Don't worry tho - I'm on it.

zero07 you did a great job sticking right to us - what's your suspension setup?

X2 man - enlighten us.
On that subject - the cruise highlighted some major defiencies in the sway bar/bushings and what not in the rear of my car. Anybody wanna get a GB on the side going for bushings, end links and maybe some upgraded sways? PM me if you're interested. Anybody who has upgraded these components LMK what you're experiences were.

Nice pics Matt. Your girlfriend got some good pics and angles that i missed since i was doing double duty on the video camera. Hopefully it will pay off with a video.

I will try to get a short teaser up within a day or 2 (maybe 25-30 epics seconds?). As far as a full video, that'll be a little more of a wait. I need to get some of the footage from you anyway. Maybe we should all wait for the final video? Who needs a teaser?
