My sister normally drives the Celica and one day she came to me telling me that the steering is really hard on the car now. I'm off work today so I finally had some time to look at it and this is what I found.
So now I need to know where's the best place to buy a whole new timing belt kit. Are Autozone's ok or am I better off buying off from the expensive Toyota Dealership? Any help is appreciated. |

Have the timing belt, drive belts, waterpump, and oil seals all replaced at a Toyota dealership. It will probably be a little more expensive than going to an independent shop or a PepBoys type place but I have seen a whole lot of people try to save money and go somewhere else and they do a horrible job on the timing belt and it makes things so much worse. I've seen people regret it because they had to come pay over again to have us (the Toyota dealer) do the timing belt job all over again.
Or go to a very trusted mechanic who you know won't screw you. But at least get parts for the timing belt, waterpump, and seals. Drive belts don't really matter since they are easy enough to change. -------------------- |
