Cold water requires more calories to be converted into useable energry. I said nothing about how fast it absorbed.
We do not give babies ice cold milk do we, no. We give them luke warm milk. Drinking cold water may refresh your pallet but you are making your body work harder to convert the cold water into useable energy. Making a babies body work harder and burn more calories can be a very bad thing when they are dehydrated, so giving them warm water makes sense. Can you explain to me how cold water is absorbed quicker? the molecules are far denser making them harder to break up and become useable... Go read a chem/bio chem and physics book, dont trust everything you read on the internet. This post has been edited by Legit94GT: Jul 23, 2008 - 5:52 PM -------------------- 1 JL 1,000/1v2
