Have a Clarion DXZ845MC unit, never had problems with it until I decided to put in a old / beat-up CDR in it. Well its plays the CD but when I try to eject it all you hear is the meachanism turning, then it will leave the face extended. The face eventually comes up after I turn off the car for awhile then turn it back on. I never really had to mess with this type of probelm plus I don't want to hurt the unit. So I hope no one tells me to stick a flat head into it ![]() What is the BEST way to get it out? thanks! -------------------- ![]() |

Disconnect the power and try the manual eject button in back if so equipped. If not, well, flathead?
Did the CDR happen to have a homemade paper label on it? - that's the usual suspect [Never use those things in car stereos] This post has been edited by DEATH: Jul 24, 2008 - 1:31 PM -------------------- ![]() ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
