i have a 94 st, is the waterpump connected to the timing belt? is it the same labor? because my car overheated and the waterpump went out, i needed it fixed fast so i took it to a shop and he told me that to change the timing belt its a totally different labor and would cost alot more for more labor. i read the walkthough of the waterpump and timing belt change on here but that was a on a gt. anoy

Perhaps their thinking is that you wouldn't need to take the Tbelt completely off to change the water pump? IDK tho - I know I would but IDK how they price it out in those guideline books.
