Should i rip it off or try to stick it back on? there's some glue residue under the cloth that looks like water marks so i'm trying to make it go back on. is there a technique to tucking the cloth under the elliptical pad it sits on?

Yep. I used Spray Tack on mine and it worked great. I'd stay away
from the super glue. If you needed to take them off, you could use a heat gun or even possibly a blow dryer to loosen up the spray tack. If you use Super Glue, you may run into a serious clean up project down the road if you need to take them off. -------------------- My new, blue spark plug wires gave my Celica, roughly, 250 more horsepower..
