Hello!
I am from Norway, and looking for some more stiffness to my car. Strut bars and sway bars are things that make this better, right? So, first of all, can I use both? (Strut bar and sway bar) Will it be better with both on? Then, where to buy them? I have seen some on Ebay, but they do not look like the ones I have seen someplaces on this forum.(strut bar) I'll got a picture of one: I am looking for a strut bar like pictured above. I do not want TRD, if it is too expensive. I am planning to repaint the strut bar in orange anyway.. Then, the sway bars. Where can I find something cheap? Any answer will be appreciated! Thanks, |

The use of a strut bar will only be helpful in the case that the suspension components (shocks/struts) being stressed by the strut bar are stiff and responsive as well, if you are looking to decrease body roll the sway bars will definitely prove helpful, but merely putting a strut tower bar on stock struts will yield minimal performance and will only wear out your shocks/struts faster causing a harsh ride. In my opinion i believe upgrading the shocks/struts would provide a stiffer ride as opposed to just buying the strut tower bar.
The Parts Database has a few other tower bars as well as the stickies in the suspension forum as well. Here are some pics of more strut tower bars. Welcome to the site and try to make use of all the features and information that has already been gathered. -------------------- |
