Ok, it seems like there is always a lot of talk about speaker sizes, and how to make brackets for the front speakers etc..
Well i just installed new speakers yesterday 6.5 all the way around, in the front what i did was.. went to my local pep boys (even tho i'm sure any auto store would have them) and bought brackets that were made for a ford. It was a 8in to 5 and 1/4 or 6.5 hole. Now, i wasn't even sure if they would work but they were only 8 bucks so i picked em up. I got home, all i had to do was drill two holes in the new brackets, screw em on to my old brackets and drop my speakers. They sound great, and are very sturdy. So even tho i still had to do some custom work, it was cheap and probably saved tons of time from making my own brackets. I would of taking pictures but i didn't think of it. Anyway, good luck if you plan on upgrading your speakers! -------------------- "Drive Well...
